Northstorm walked up beside her and narrowed his eyes to the right one. It was pitch black. "Right the right one sounds good." He took the lead into the tunnels, it smelled of rock and earth. "I wonder whats on the other side." He looked back at the entrance as he waited for Stoneheart to follow or at least take the lead. "What do you think?"

Stoneheart hurried after the tom. "With all these sparkly stones I wouldn't be surprised if Starclan was on the other side," she joked. "But I can't tell. I think it's pretty long, so I can't catch any scents of the other side." She saw him wait and walked past him to take the lead, letting her whiskers guide her through the tunnel. "I guess the river made these a long time ago," she muttered, just loud enough for the sound to reach Northstorm. The walls were smooth as if water had swept over them, and the ground didn't seem like it had been stepped on since the time it was made.

Northstorm thought about the end of the tunnels. "Maybe it does lead to another Clans territory. If we needed to we could take these tunnels to invade on their land." He stopped and looked at the shiny rocks, his claw scrapping the ground.

"This one seems to head toward Featherclan territory right now. I don't think it goes under the river, but the center one was pretty steep. Maybe it goes to Moonclan." She pondered on it for a while as she padded on. "Yeah, I think that's how it is. I don't even want to try the left one." After a while she felt a weak draft coming from up ahead. They must be getting close to the exit. "How long do you think we've been in here?"

Northstorm continued on to follow her. "The one that is flooded does give a good reason that it goes to MoonClan territory." He too felt the breeze, he took in the air. "yup deffinitly FeatherClan. Though I didn't pay attention to the time of day." As they continued on he could see light. "Look"

Stoneheart had seen the same thing and picked up the pace to a swift trot. At the end of the tunnel she stopped and looked out carefully. She didn't want to run out just to find herself in an enemy camp. But there was no such thing here. Bushes were covering the entrance, making it nearly invisible from the outside. The river curved in a corner close by and right ahead there was an open field with rocks and grass. "It's not Featherclan," she said over her shoulder and walked out into the open. "Not really. We're just outside their border. It's the Moonlight Field!" She purred at the discovery and their success and. The sun was still high in the sky, so they hadn't been in there for long either. "I've never seen in daylight before," she said in a soft voice, almost like she was dreaming. Her black and white fur shone brilliantly in the sunlight, no trees blocking out the warm rays. Not realizing she was doing it, she flicked her tail affectionately over Northstorm's shoulder as she looked at the wide open space. "Isn't it beautiful?"

Northstorm flecked his muscles at her gesture and walked up next to her side. "I guess I can say this only once but yes, it is beautiful." He walked out without testing the air. He wasn't afraid if a clans patrol came. They couldn't do anything if they weren't on their territory.

Stoneheart turned her head to Northstorm. "Do you think we should go back yet? The rest of the clan might wonder where we are." She wanted to explore the field some more, but she didn't want to get in trouble for being away too long. She had never gotten much time to look around during the gatherings, but if the two of them only came back with one squirrel after such a long time it could cause some questions. "We could explore the second tunnel tomorrow, but I think we need to hunt some more now."

Northstorm sniffed the air. "Why not hunt here?" It was a good place. "Prey will be running around. Plus no clan that boarders here could say anything about hunting in their territory." Northstorm took more steps into the field. His tail swinging back and forth.

"Um, sure! I wonder what we can catch here." Stoneheart walked calmly into the open. Out in the field there were plenty of birds, and even a few rabbits. She turned her attention to a big crow pecking on the ground nearby. Quickly she dropped to a hunters crouch, sneaking closer steadily. The crow was still keeping it's head down as she drew close, and with a quick jump and a bite she finished it of. "What a stupid bird," she purred as she dragged it back to the cave entrance after its wing. Here she looked around to see if Northstorm had caught something.
