Northstorm blocked the flying mud with his paw. After Stoneheart he made his way to the mud and rolled in it. The white markings on his legs where now matching his dark covered tabby pelt. "Right, now we look like walking monsters." He shook off any clumps that might fall off during their exploring. "If I have to guess then it would be somewhere near the middle of the territory."

"Then Moonclan will think twice about attacing us," she meowed when he mentioned monsters. This territory had unfamiliar ground, but would be easy enough to travel in if they didn't get caught. She tested the air, but there was no sign of a patroll, so she decided to walk on right away. "If we loose track of each other we need to have a plan," she said to Northstorm when she realized they would not be able to scent each other with the mud coats.

Northstorm followed her walking a little pace faster than her's. "Easy. Mark the very bottom of the rock with mud from your tail and when you think you've seen enough then follow it back." The mud would more likely look brown compared to the gray rocks that surounded them.

Stoneheart nodded an agreement. "Sounds like a good plan," she said. As they walked the scents of Moonclan grew stronger, and the literally fishy smell was, not really disgusting, but at least odd for a cat like herself. "Don't they know there are better things to eat than fish," she muttered. "Or maybe they're just too clumsy to catch something else. But no wonder why, their paws must be hard as stone when they walk on this all day." Her own paws were still fine, but she knew they would be really tired at the end of the day if they would stay here until then.

"You know what they say, you are what you eat. They're as dumb as fish easily getting caught." He looked around the rocks. Some of them were big and some were small. "Maybe we can find their training ground first. If we can, we'll be lucky to see them practice their moves." When the time came to invade MoonClan's territory they will be ready to fight in this terrain like in the forest.

Stoneheart giggled at his comment and it made her imagine Moonclan cats flailing like fish out of water after one hit. She had to struggle not to laugh out loud with the image in her mind, and after a few more giggles she calmed down. "Yeah, sounds like a nice idea. I just hope they're not slippery like fish aswell," she said. She didn't think they were, after what she had heard about these big cats who were more likely to use power than speed, but one could never know. Stoneheart started to search for places with stornger scents and softer areas in the terrain. The rocks couldn't be any good for training on for young apprentices. "How about there?" She pointed to something that looked like a dent in the ground up ahead.

Northstorm looked at the little dip that she pointed at. "Maybe." For some reason it seemed to easy. "Lets investigate and stay low. I'll take the lead" Slipping behind a rock he crept closer and closer to the dip.

Soneheart followed him, light on her feet as if she was stalking prey. She thought she could hear the sound of other cats, but then again, it could be her imagination. She made sure to keep an eye on the suroundings as she walked a tail lenght behind him. "Do you see anything?" Stoneheart kept her voice so low only Northstorm would hear her.

Northstorm looked over the rock he was he couldn't see any cats around only rocks the made a circle with a little dip. the ground looked softer there. "I don't see any cats but I do see something that looks like a training ground."

Stoneheart tried to look past him to see the ground in the dip. "Do you think we should wait here? Or we could try too look for their camp entrance." It would be much more risky to go closer to their camp, but it would be very useful to know where it was and if they had more than one entrance. "If they're anything like us, the strongest scent trail should lead us directly there."
