Taking one last wash to his wound he started to follow her back to the camp. His tail and ears flicking in frustration, thinking back to where he had been distracted. He would of had her. He went back to the present day just in time to hear Stoneheart's question. "That cat that was in the territory was my sister." He growled. Featherleaf was taking rapid breathes. Her wound were stinging and she couldn't move. She looked into deep into the territory. She always wished that things could be different. She wished that Northstorm could be a different cat.

"Your sister? I think I remember some stories of her from when you first joined the clan..." She thought back to the days when he as a young rouge had showed up in their territory. Stoneheart couldn't remember him speaking about her much, but back then she thought he had spoken of her with contempt too. But he looked like he was in a bad mood after the recent reunion, so she decided to change the subject. She put on a smile and spoke with a cheerful voice. "Do you want to check out the second tunnel later? I really want to see where it goes."

"Yes well, not we have to put clan rivalary between us." Northstorm lied, making his voice believable. "Though it seems that she doesn't understand it." He kept silent for a few moments, until Stoneheart spoke once again. "Yes, we can check out that second tunnel."

Stoneheart made her way back to camp. Every now and then she looked at Northstorm to see if his eye was still well, but still she kept a steady pace. It only seemed like a minor wound for a strong warrior, but it would need to be checked by a medicine cat none the less. She walked to the medicine cat den with swift and steady movements ad poked her head inside. "Swiftheart? Herbfeather?" she called, waiting silently for a response.

Northstorm tail still lashed with frustration. He would of had her. How could he have been distracted? He sat down a few fox lengths away from the medicine cat den. He wiped his paw over his wound. It felt as if they would stay there forever, the blood will dry up but it would leave three pink slash scares across his face.

Stoneheart walked back to Northstorm. "It doesn't look like they're here, but I bet you just need to clean the wounds and put on some cobwebs. I can do it for you if you'd like," she suggested. It couldn't be so hard to do. After all, it was the first thing any medicine cat apprentice would learn well. She examined the wounds well to make sure they really weren't infected before she ran of to get some webs. The cobwebs were easy enough to find, laying in a large pile in plain sight. She took a bunch carrying them like she had seen Swiftheart do and hurried back again. "Now hold still while I clean it," she said, telling him how much she cared with a purr.

Northstorm stood still as the she cat tended to his wound. It was just quicker to tend to it now and they can go to the tunnels when she was done. "I can't stay still that long, or my paws will fall off." He mewed. He wound his tail around his fore paws.

"Don't complain so much, or I might end up biting you instead," Stoneheart teased. With a few quick rasps with her tounge, she finished the cleaning and started to apply the webs. "There," she meowed and padded it once to make sure they were propperly attached. "Now you look like you walked into a spider's den. Does the wound feel okay now?" She sniffed it once again, just to be certain it was clean.

Northstorm didn't feel anything except the stick cob web on his wound. "I feel the cob web but the wound doesn't sting that much anymore." His ear flicked in discomfort. "But I suppose I'm gonna have to go half blind today."

"Better half blind today than for the rest of your life," Stoneheart meowed, glad that his eye was still fine. "I don't think you have to wear it very long. Just 'til it stops bleeding so it doesn't get infected." She purred with confidence, believing she would have made a good medicine cat if it had interested her. "Are you ready to go or do you want some rest first." She felt the eagernes flow through her body when she thought of the tunnels, but she hid it well so Northstorm could take his time if he needed it.
