(It's fine. Hope you get some more time soon ) He nodded and went outside into the cold air. Stormcloud stalked through the twoleg garden. He had been careful not to take any more of their rabbits in case they'd notice him and Mintblossom, but now they were leaving and he wanted a quick and good meal. He lept over the fence and finnished one of without a sound before dragging it back to the den under the bush. "Just take some if you want," he purred. "There's plenty for both of us. Have you eaten your traveling herbs?" He ate his fill of the prey, careful not to eat too much, before he ate his share of the herbs. He looked far upriver where Sunclan would be and felt a wave of happines grow. He would finally get to go home with his mate and kits, and even though they could never know he was their father, he would get to see them grow up in the clan he loved. "Ready to go?" he asked softly.

Mintblossom looked at Stormcloud, with love and anxiety in her eyes. "Yes," she whispered. She picked her kits up by the scruff. "Let's go," She mumbled through a mouthful of kit fur.
(Also, sorry for the short post.)

Stormcloud reached over to her and picked up one of the kits. He gave her a short nod of determination and padded out from the den. He padded down to the riverbank and placed the kit on the ground. The water was deeper and flowing faster now than when they had left home. "I think we should cross that bridge," he meowed, looking at a stone bridge, crossing the water upstream. "I don't want to risk being stuck on this side if we don't cross now," he said, explaining why he wanted to go near a twoleg thing. He picked up the kit again and padded on with soft steps, looking back to see if Mintblossom was coming.

Mintblossom hesitated, not wanting to touch a twoleg thing. Eventually, she hopped up and started across. She expected the bridge to crumble, but then she realized that if a twoleg and their dogs can do it, so can she. She then headed across triumphantly. Moonkit was mewling pitifully, petrified by the surrounding water. Finally, Mintblossom hopped off of the bridge, much to Moonkit's relief. Mintblossom purred at the sight of the young kit's big eyes. Such large eyes for one so small. She turned to Stormcloud and meowed, "Which way should we go?"
