Dipperstar walked confidently into the field of the gathering. His pelt was dull and some of his ribs were showing after moons of dry weather, but on the journey to the Moonlight Field he and his clan had gotten the chance to quench their thirst properly for the first time in a long while. He drank the scents of the night, the sweet smell of green grass here near the river, but no cats other than his own had shown up yet. It would give him some time to rest, before the meeting. He didn't like to admit it, but getting here had taken its toll on his worn body. Now he found a spot below the rock and started grooming his fur while he waited for the other clans to arrive.
Stomcloud trotted along the edge of the forest. He always sat close to the rock with the other medicine cats, so for once he wanted to see the clearing from some other point. An omnious foreboding told him he soon would have to get used to this point of view, but he shook the feeling of. There was no reason for anyone to ever learn that the kits were his, so he had nothing to worry about. Yet something in the back of his mind kept naging him about it.

Sootclaw padded a tail-length or two behind Dipperstar. He gave a once over of his leader, even he didn't look as healthy as he had only a few moons ago. With a sigh he could already picture himself looking ragged. The vibrant taste of water still rang in his sense, he wouldn't of minded just staying there. Watching his clan mates drink and drink until there soul's would practically be dripping in moisture. His once sparking electric eyes had died down, only a buzz of the strong electric current that would feel to be inside him remained. He watched as Dipperstar went below the rock, he turned himself to sit under the direct moon-light wafting down from the heavens ignoring the parch grass that threatened to envelope him.

Swiftheart was walking just a few tail lengths behind Spicestar and sat down next to Stormcloud "Hello Stormcloud how are things with your clan?" he hoped his seemingly cheerful voice hid his fear the clans seemed to all be on edge tonight he could just sense it.

Stormcloud jumped, caught in his own thoughts, when Swifthear spoke. He turned around with a nervous laughter. "We're fine," he purred, his voice calming down. "This greenleaf has been very dry, but nothing we can't handle. It can't be long before the rain falls again. And how's Stormclan?" Once again his mind went back to the kits. He wondered if they would have to be raised in Stormclan, but if they did, they would have Swiftheart aswell as Herbfeather and that was a good thought.
Stoneheart had just entered the field, ber black and white coat newly groomed and shining in the moonlight. She walked straight ahead to the highest point of the relatively flat ground, making herself visible. There had to be some enemy warriors around she could get some valuable information from, if she only looked sweet and easy to talk to.

Swiftheart was glad to hear things were going well in Sunclan "That's good to hear, Stormclan is doing well too." his ind kept on going back to the various dreams him and Herbfeather had been having he knew that something big was going to happen soon and it wouldn't bee good.

Stormcloud tilted his head to the side. Swiftheart had seemed slightly distressed for a short moment. It could have been his imagination playing tricks on him with his own thoughts going on, but he had to ask anyway. "Is something wrong?" He asked as if he was a concerned friend, but then again, Swiftheart probably was the closest he could get to a friend outside of his own clan.

Swiftheart looked at Stormcloud and said " You know how sometimes you get that feeling in your gut that something bad is going to happen? Well that's what I'm feeling." He honestly hooped he was wrong but if he was right... no he thought to himself nothing bad will happen, not tonight.

Stomcloud nodded. It was a feeling he was all too familiar with nowdays, but there was no way he'd tell his secret to Swiftheart. "Yeah, I get it sometimes," he simply answered. "But noting really bad tends to happen. Everyone seem calm tonight, so I don't think there's a battle coming." Some Stormclan cats seemed to be plotting something like always, but he wouldn't offend Stormclan right in their medicine cat's face. Maybe Stormclan would be a suiting home for him too, he who broke the warrior code so severely. His self-destructive thoughts made him look like he was about to throw up a hairball, and he shook his head to clear his mind.

Swiftheart noticed that some of his clanmates looked like they were up to something some days he wished his clan was more peaceful if anything just to make the forest a more peaceful place. "You're right, besides Starclan would never allow for there to be a fight on the full moon."
