Lame title is lame c:
Dapplestone's paws felt heavy, he had been traveling for awhile. He didn't want to stop and rest know, since he knew he was so close. His eyes eyes wandered for a bit, to gaze at his surroundings. It was strange, with no trees to cover under. Although, he could see a tree coming up, although it was alone it would provide him some comfort. His green eyes took one last look around him them continued forward toward the tree. His eyes remained on the ground for most of the walk, but he stopped when he felt he was close enough he stopped and looked up. The tree, twisted in every which way possible, but that wasn't what caught his eye. A small ginger tabby crouched not to far away, from what he could tell she was hunting. He hesitated, wondering whether or not he should disturb her hunt. He watched her for a moment longer then stepped forward, her tabby pelt was just as bright as ever. Just like he remembered it, only thing was, would she remember him? He hoped so. "Leafpoppy?" he mewed clearly, not too loud but not too quiet. He waited for her reaction, wondering how he had managed to lose her.

Leafpoppy's head shot up her green eyes searching frantically wondering where the strangely familiar voice had come from, and she cursed as her prey scampered away. The small she-cat sat up looking over at the black cat that stood infront of her. Her eyes trailed up and down the familiar spotted pelt, and she knew that scent..."DAPPLESTONE!" she yowled bounding towards her mate, her big round eyes shining, wider than ever. She lept into the air once she was about a foxlength away, lunging towards him, creating a furry ginger rainbow in the sky. She landed square on his back tumbling to the ground. "OMGITHOUGHTYOUWEREDEADHOWDIDYOUFINDMEWHATHAPPENEDTOTHECLAN,WEGOTATTACKEDANDIRANAWAYANDIMSOSORRYIYELLEDATYOUANDIMSOHAPPYTOSEEYOU" she mewed so fast her words ran together.

Dapplestone watched as the she-cat looked slightly confused for a moment before her eyes were set on him. Before he had time to think a bundle of yowling ginger fur collided into him and rolling him into the ground. A small "oof" exited his jaws when he landed, her words came out in a flurry and he understood barely anything. His paws managed to find their way around her in a hug, he wasn't exactly sure what to say. Although he couldn't sound as excited as she was, considering the tom hadn't talked very much in moons. "Don't worry I'd never get mad at you for "yelling" at me! " he purred and gave her a small lick on the cheek. " I'm just sorry I hadn't found you earlier. Your one hard cat to track " he mewed shaking his head, but he was purring.

Leafpoppy let out a purr and buried her face in his soft black fur, her whiskers twitching in amusement. "well you can thank yourself for that" she mewed "your the one that taught me" she smiled remembering her apprentice years, her expression turning into a sick grimace as she remembered how she followed Dapplestone around like an obsessive, love-sick puppy dog. "I can't believe you found me!" she mewed in a high pitched excited sound. "I really thought you were dead! what happened to the rest of stormclan?" she asked, her ears perked up in intrest.

Dapplestone purred " You did learn from the best " his mew was affectionate. He did remember how, even though seeing his apprentice was obviously too fond of him, had been ignoring the young she-cat over everything other than training. Always, remembering Eclipse. He shook his head, remembering when she had offered him her kit. He cleare dthe thoughts away, this was his current mate Leafpoppy in front of him. The one who even still today, loved him dearly. Dapplestone frowned " Everybody just split up, every cat in every clan went their own seperate way. I remember seeing Mapletrail and Duskwhisper together. That's about it. I'm not really sure how four whole clans can just vanish like that into seperate territories, but it did happen. " he mewed recalling some faint memories.

Leafpoppy frowned at the memory of her brother and sister whom she would never see again. She turned her small head toward the sky, frowning at the setting sun. "We had better get back to camp," she mewed. "There's a pack of foxes in our territory right now, and im not really supposed to be out here right now." she mewed. "Plus it looks like you could use a bite to eat, and a warm place to sleep" she purred licking his furry black cheek and standing up, shaking bits of dirt and grass from her pale colored coat. "Common you big lump" she teased, prodding her mate in the ribs with a small white paw, anxiousness swirling in the depths of her green eyes. Would the clan accept her mate? Surely they could use an extra warrior...

Dapplestone frowned, worrying. She had been out here earlier anyway, he stared at her for a moment. Although, he wasn't going to get all possesive and protective, that was just annoying. "Well, I hope the foxes leave soon " he murmured. "Hey! I'm not a big lump! " he argued and gave her a small nudge. " And besides " he gave her a small look " If I were you I wouldn't be talking " he purred then raced ahead. Knowing that small comment wasn't something she would be happy to hear, even though he was only teasing. He wasn't sure where the camp was, but he could guess. He hoped they'd accept him, cause he wasn't gonna leave.

Leafpoppy snorted and took off, racing after her mate, streaking past him. "who's a lump now?" she teased sticked her small pink tounge out at him as he bounded next to her. "Do you even know where we're going?" she mewed. The small she-cat couldn't help but smile, being reunited with her mate, things might start making sense again she thought. She slowed down, and turned, trotting toward camp.
